Terms of Use
By accessing or using ContextNews (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service includes personalized news aggregation, RSS and Atom dashboards, saved articles, custom contexts, notifications, discussion, reactions, optional AI-assisted summaries for eligible subscribers, and related features we may add or change over time.
You may need an account for certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The Service aggregates publicly available feeds and third-party content. We do not control publishers; availability, accuracy, completeness, and legality of articles and links are determined by third parties. Your use of external sites and content is at your own risk.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or performance, use automated means to scrape or overload the Service beyond reasonable personal use, harass others, or violate applicable law.
Where offered, optional paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Fees, taxes, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the checkout disclosures and Stripe's terms; we may change pricing with notice where required. Payment card data is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Certain features may produce automated summaries or scores using third-party AI services (OpenAI). Outputs are informational only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are not fact-checking, legal, financial, or professional advice.
We and our licensors own the Service, software, and branding. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us a license to host, store, and process it as needed to operate the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, legal compliance, or non-payment where applicable. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may modify these Terms; continued use after we post changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires additional notice. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are not waived.
